The New Radio -Yes I’m Sorry I Wasn’t Paying Attention

Recently, I’ve been listening to podcasts on the Internet. You would be amazed by some of the high quality programming that is actually out there!

Shows like the Bitterest Pill with Dan Klass & Film Flim Flam.

I’ve been following the Bitterest Pill, and having a blast listening to some of the stories that Dan relates. My current favorite is episode #180, which is entitled "I played this game with you before."

The Bitterest Pill is done by a self-described failed actor who records his episodes in his garage under the LAX flight path.

It is refreshing listening to radio that doesn’t have a commercial mandate controlling what gets put on air. In my humble opinion, I think this is the future of radio.

The other website, Flim Flim Flam is one that deals with movies, provides a well researched commentary on movies as well as reviews of older and movies. The show is well researched, and you’d be amazed at some of the back stories about movies that were made.

Either way do yourself a favor and grab a Colortini, kick back and have a listen.

As podcasts have been around for a while, I never really quite got it. For me a podcast is Internet radio. The past few weeks have been trying to find stuff to listen to by searching "Internet radio". Turns out the new term is now officially "podcast".

I must’ve been sleeping when It happened.
